“ 20250712 Back again for lunch this time. We had two bahnmi: crispy roast pork Bahnmi and a lemongrass beef. Both were devoured as the cravings were satisfied by the soft crackle as I bit into the fresh roll and crispy roast pork oozing with its amazing sauce, fresh cut chilli and salad filling. Im not a bread ir carb fan but I so crave these bahnmi. 20250601 Rarely do I increase my star rating after several visits but tonight I wanted to return to give this place 5 stars, only to find that was my last rating! I had the crispy roast pork Bahnmi and my son the bamee house special. The freshness of the ingredients with that added touch of homecooked authenticity made the trip out worthwhile. Service came with a smile and a chat. My son was wiping a few drops of water on the table dry and the owner quickly grabbed the serviette off him to bin, apologetic my son had had to do that though it was just water droplets. Later when my son struggled after eating a chilli slice neat, the owner noticed and quickly brought him a bottle of water. The chef confidently told me there's no MSG in the food as the fresh flavours get masked in MSG. He also understands the toxicity that comes from MSG and explained it's cooking with it in high heat that creates the chemical reaction leading to the symptoms I experience at other places: thirst, headache and food coma. He said it should ever only be used in small quantities when marinating the meat. So he added to my understanding of MSG. Well, his food is so fresh that no MSG is needed to bring out its flavours. Previous visit If you're after real food that you can find at home, but though you know is tastier and healthier you don't have the time or energy to cook, this is your second home kitchen. You can taste the meat, garlic, and all other FRESH ingredients as you slurrrrpp up the pho or bun cha. I loved the Bamee House Special Pho. The spring rolls, though amazing, were a little pricey for the size. Have returned and will certainly be a favourite. Place is clean with sink to wash your hands. Credit card payments available with NO surcharge. ”

“ First experience at Ba Mee House and loved it. Friendly, chatty staff who offered us to grab a coke after a short wait, as he apologied for the delay - he was kept busy! We tried the roast chicken plus the crispy pork bah mee. I don’t normally like or eat chilli but I gave it a go this time and was very manageable- the rolls were delicious. Also tried the prawn rolls which were ok and received without asking were 3 yummy fresh fried spring rolls (which you receive if ordering 2 or more bah mee. We’ll be back! Thanks! ”
